Our Paxil Attorneys
Steven J. Kherkher

Partner Steven J. Kherkher manages the Paxil docket for Williams Kherkher Law Firm. Studies have shown that women in the first three months of pregnancies are twice as likely to have a baby with a heart defect if they're taking Paxil during their pregnancies. Steve has been helping sign up Paxil clients since shortly after the FDA issued a health alert in December 2005.
Prior to the Paxil docket, Steve has managed several pharmaceutical dockets, including Fen-phen, Quinine, Contact Lens Solution, Avandia and Vioxx.
Steve is a cum laude graduate of South Texas College of Law. Prior to law school, Steve earned bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Houston. Steve has been practicing law for nearly 20 years, and is licensed in Texas, New York, Arkansas and Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Texas and Houston Trial Lawyers Associations, the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association.
John T. Boundas

John T. Boundas, a partner at Williams Kherkher Law Firm, co-manages the firm's Paxil docket. Since the FDA issued a health alert in December 2005 about the connection between taking Paxil during the first trimester of pregnancy and giving birth to a baby with a heart defect, John has been working with clients nationwide.
In addition to heart defects, evidence exists of a connection between Paxil and the development of Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn (PPHN), a lung defect which causes elevated blood pressure in the baby.
John attended the University of Michigan for his bachelors degree and the University of Iowa College of Law for his juris doctorate. He has been a practicing attorney for over a decade, licensed to practice law in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Northern and Western Districts of Texas, as well as the 3rd and 5th Circuit Courts of Appeals. John is also licensed to practice in Illinois, Pennsylvania and Texas.
